What can I give Him, Poor as I am?

PRELUDE
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today.
OPENING PRAYER:
Holy God, we give you thanks for the Gift of Love given to us in the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord. As we journey through this final week of Advent and prepare ourselves for the season of Christmas, may we reflect upon the steps we have taken as we have received the gifts of joy, peace, hope and love. May these gifts continue to be given to the world as your light shines through us. We ask this in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
(Matthew 6:9-13)
