PIE SALE– To help provide funds for the Allport Cemetery, Gethsemane UM Church will be selling pies that will be ready for pickup Friday, May 22 just in time for Memorial Day Weekend. The pies will be made at the church and cost $10 each. Three ways to order: Put order form in the church offering, send order form in mail, or call Cathy (814-345-5739). If you use a check, please make checks payable to Allport Cemetery Association. Orders are due May 15, 2026. Extra order forms in the Welcome Center.
BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT has been moved to May 16. Registration starts at 9:30am. Tournament is from 10 am to 2 pm.
BULLETIN BOARD- Please take a look at the bulletin board in the vestibule, there is a lot of information posted on there. Upcoming events, church financials and so much more.

GERANIUMS- Order are due by Sunday, May 17. Pentecost Sunday is May 24. The geraniums will be planted in the church yard.
TEA PARTY- May 23rd from 1 to 3 pm. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the vestibule if you would like to bring finger food. No children under the age of 16. Come enjoy some refreshments and fellowship. Any questions contact Missy.
MT. VALLEY DISTRICT- is requesting donations of hand towels and erasers for their HUB kits. There is a bin in the back for your donations. Donations need to be in by May 31st. Thank you.
ALL GRADUATES: There are forms in back for graduates to fill out and return. Please return by May 17 with a picture you would like. (Can also be emailed to gumc.office@gmail.com) Graduation Sunday will be June 7.
NATIONAL EMS WEEK (MAY 17- 23)– Let’s show our appreciation to the EMS for all they do. We are collecting handwritten notes or prayer cards as small tokens of spiritual encouragement. There will be a collection box in the
back of the church for your cards and letters. Please, the last day for collection is Sunday, May 10.
CINCINNATI YOUTH CHOIR AND BELL RINGERS
Gethsemane UM Church presents the Youth Choir and Ringers from Church of the Saviour United Methodist in Cincinnati, Ohio, in concert on June 5th,
2026. A love offering will be taken so the youth can continue their ministry.
