Before we merger, each church had its own quilting group which continued on as we became Gethsemane. There have been hundreds of quilts done. In earlier years they were made for the church and sold at our bazaar but now they are quilted for individuals. The quilt has already been sewn or patched together before it reaches us but there are wonderful stories about how each patch came from. Many patches were made by grandmothers and never sewn together and quilted. The ladies love the company and invite you to drop in and visit. They would be glad to have you join them. They meet each Tuesday from 8 to 11:30 am in the quilting room off of the gym. Donations they receive are used to help the Food Pantry.
