PREPARATION AND PRAISE
GREETING and ANNOUNCEMENTS GATHERING PRAISE SONG
PRELUDE
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today. OPENING PRAYER :2
Leader: Come, let us worship God!
People: Together, let us be eager to listen, learn, and glorify God.
Prayer (in unison): Holy God, we recognize you still speak through your people. May we let go of our “busyness” so we can listen to the Holy Spirit as you speak to each of us. Remind us that you have a call for each of our lives and let us go forward empowered to make this world a better place. Let our actions and words speak profoundly of your good work in the world. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”. “Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.
JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
(Matthew 6:9-13)
