Welcome, brothers and sisters in Christ, as we gather for
Praise, Prayer, Word and Worship!
“We should always look upon ourselves as God’s servants placed in God’s world to do His work, and accordingly labor faithfully for Him;
Not with a design to grow rich and great

PREPARATION AND PRAISE
GREETING and ANNOUNCEMENTS GATHERING PRAISE SONG
PRELUDE
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today.
OPENING PRAYER (In Unison):2
Holy God, you are the one who set work into motion by creating all things and having Adam and Eve tend the garden. Thousands of years later you still call us to be people of work. Today we ask that you give us strength and boldness as we continue to pray for change in our lives at home and work. Help us to be a beacon of light so that all we do brings adoration and praise to you. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
WORDS OF PARDON
L: Hear the good news: Christ died for us while we were
yet sinners; that proves God’s love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
P: In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! All: Glory to God. Amen.

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”. “Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.
JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
(Matthew 6:9-13)
SHARING LOVE & PEACE in PLACE
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”
