We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today. OPENING PRAYER:2
Holy God, we come to worship you as the Chief Cornerstone in our church and in our lives. Draw us into your holy presence so that we will fulfill your purpose. Strengthen our faith; fill us with your vision, and create in each of us a sacred space that becomes a “living stone.”
As we live in you, let Gethsemane United Methodist Church rise to be a “living witness” so we are able to bear fruit for your Kingdom.
We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
