PREPARATION AND PRAISE
GREETING and ANNOUNCEMENTS
GATHERING PRAISE SONG
PRELUDE
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today.
CALL TO WORSHIP:
Leader: Today you are invited to remember and celebrate all who follow Jesus.
People: Today we gather with the Great Cloud of Witnesses, remembering their commitment, love, and journey with Christ.
Leader: As we remember each life that “took up their cross and followed Christ, may we also be “re-membered.”
People: Let us be transformed by the Holy Spirit to be more like Christ.
Leader: May the God who created each generation create in us a new heart that exemplifies Christ in the current generation and future generations.
People: May new life rise from each of our hearts as we receive new life and joy, always remembering “The Joy of the Lord is our strength.”
OPENING PRAYER:
Holy God, we give you thanks for all the saints. As we worship you today, may we encounter your Holy Presence and experience your life-transforming grace. We ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”. “Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.
JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.(Matthew 6:9-13)
SHARING LOVE & PEACE in PLACE
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”
