Welcome, brothers and sisters in Christ, as we gather for
Praise, Prayer, Word and Worship!

as is God’s law, which we seek to follow and to bring more fully into the world.”

As sisters and brothers we rise up in hope
What the Bible says about the importance of practicing together. (Eastertide Series) (Indicates people standing, if able) ————————————————- PREPARATION AND PRAISE
GREETING and ANNOUNCEMENTS GATHERING PRAISE SONG
PRELUDE
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today.
GREETING:
You have come from afar and waited long and are wearied. Let us sit side by side,
sharing the same bread drawn from the same source to quiet the same hunger that makes us weak.
Then standing together let us share the same spirit, the same thoughts that once again draw us together in friendship and unity and peace.
WORDS OF PARDON
L: Hear the good news: Christ died for us while we were
yet sinners; that proves God’s love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
P: In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! All: Glory to God. Amen.
SCRIPTURE READING Liturgist: Barbara Crain Acts 9:1-6

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”. “Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.
JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
SHARING LOVE & PEACE in PLACE
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”
