Welcome, brothers and sisters in Christ, as we gather for
Praise, Prayer, Word and Worship!
“God does not cause our suffering, God does not will our suffering. God identifies with our suffering and works faithfully, everlastingly, and infallibly to transform our suffering into the highest possible good or into life lived within the realm of God’s resurrection. This is the distinctively Christian answer to the problem of evil.”

GREETING and ANNOUNCEMENTS GATHERING PRAISE SONG
PRELUDE
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today.
OPENING PRAYER : 2
Hosanna!
Hosanna!
Blessed is the One who comes in the name of God!
Blessed are we, for we have been created by that same God.
Blessed is the sound of our voices, lifted up in praise.
Blessed are the hands that clap and strum and pluck, joining together in one glorious Hosanna.
Blessed are the bodies that move and wave and march and dance in a tapestry of motion,
embodying your love.
Blessed is the breath that enlivens us, animates us, and sustains us in singing our ceaseless praise to you, O God.
Hosanna!
HYMN #278 “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna ” CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”. “Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.
JOYS AND CONCERNS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
SHARING LOVE & PEACE in PLACE
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”
Hosanna!
