“We listened, and through that listening a dynamic of its own developed. The end result…was a group spirit and group coherence stronger than any I have ever known, yet it was a ‘dance with many dancers,’ a group of individuals who had found an emergent reality drawing our differences into a meaningful whole.”

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”. “Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
SHARING LOVE & PEACE in PLACE
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”
We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today.
Prayer of Confession2
L: We confess that the circle of love is broken whenever there is alienation, whenever there is misunderstanding, whenever there is insensitivity or a hardening of the heart.
P: Forgive us our sins, as we forgive all who have sinned against us.
L: We confess that the circle of love is broken whenever we cannot see eye to eye, whenever we cannot link hand to hand, whenever we cannot live heart to heart and affirm our differences.
P: Forgive us our sins, as we forgive all who have sinned against us.
