Please join the ” A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT CLUB”. Some of our church family and friends can’t be with us for worship, for many reasons. They still think about us and pray for us. We started sending cards before the Virus hit but now that we’re worshiping together again, it would be nice to continue that. Visitation program for our families !
Think of the people around us who are our Church Family who are seriously challenged to get to do any needed shopping, to doctors, and to Church. Think of how an hour of our time would brighten their day. They love and need to reminisce and share. We’re building a team for visitation to these people. It would be for an HOUR or TWO a month. Gethsemane’s Christian Ladies Group “Grow Like A Willow”
lead by Missy Maines, will reboot on October 7, 2020 @ 6:30 PM in the Library. The group then will follow their new normal schedule and will gather the First and Third Wednesday of each month, at 6:30.

With the change in season’s (TEMPS) we will be having most worship services in the sanctuary. We have been working on ways to worship, since we are only permitted to have 25 folks in the sanctuary at one time.
We are brainstorming for you all and we promise, as things change we will stay in touch with everyone from Gethsemane. Pray that we all, will soon be together at one service, Permanently.

I NEED A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
When any committee or group is planning to have a meeting during any month, could you slip me a note in the office telling me about what it is you’re having, so that I may keep everyone informed. Please try to get me this information for the two Sunday’s before you meet.
One more favor friends, could someone in your group, just jot down some sort of minutes of decisions made and of exciting things to come. I will file all minutes here in the office. If you send them as an email attachment, or a hard copy. Please give me your minutes within 10 days of your last meeting

Drive thru – Pick up Only
Begins 3:30 pm
As you have heard we are going to do the Roast Beef dinner on September 26th as take out only. We need lots of help during the week and on Saturday. This will be new and different for everyone so please show up and we will put you to work.
Wednesday 9/23 7:00 AM Prepare and roast the beef
Wednesday 9/23 6:00 PM Make the pie crusts
Thursday 9/24 9:00 AM make the pepper slaw
Thursday 9/24 10:30 AM slice the roast beef
Saturday 9/26 6:00 AM or before fill the pie crust. All pies are being made at the church. We are doing coconut cream, lemon, chocolate, strawberry and Pecan.
Saturday 9/26 9:00 AM prepare bake potatoes and get food ready to cook
Saturday 9/26 2:00 PM HELP HELP HELP We will be filling applesauce and pepperslaw, bagging rolls, cutting pies and anything else we have forgotten.
We will need servers, packers, runners, ticket takers, clean-up and many jobs we haven’t even thought of. We just need your help and prayers. Free meal to all who come and work. Thank you in advance.
