“When I see the world through the other’s eyes, I cannot simply return to my old ways of seeing. This shift invariably leads to repentance, because I see the degree to which my own view had become the only view.”

PRELUDE

We are so excited that you are Worshipping with us at Gethsemane today.

OPENING PRAYER[1]

Give us, Señor, a little sun, a little happiness, and some work.

Give us a heart to comfort those in pain.

Give us the ability to be good, strong, wise, and free,

so that we may be as generous with others as we are with ourselves.

Finally, Señor, let us all live as your own one family. Amen.

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE

Let us welcome the children: “Jesus Loves Me”.

“Jesus loves me! This I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes! Jesus loves me, Yes! Jesus loves me. Yes! Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so”.

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION     (In unison after prayer)

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, and  the power and the glory forever. Amen

(Matthew 6:9-13)
