GATHERING PRAISE SONG

PRELUDE

OPENING PRAYER: (in unison)

Gracious God, we come not trusting our own wisdom,
but seeking the wisdom revealed by Your Spirit.
Open our hearts to receive the mind of Christ.

Shape us inwardly, that our lives may shine outwardly as salt and light, reflecting Your love and not our own righteousness.

As we hear Your Word, transform our hearts and lead us
into the true righteousness You desire.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
