PRELUDE

OPENING PRAYER: (in unison)

Gracious Holy God,

As we gather today, we pull up another chair–making room for you and one another.

Open our hearts to the Scripture as it is revealed.

Remind us that no one is outside of your love and that we are invited to become a part of your family.

Be present with us now as we worship and learn more about you.  We

ask this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

*OPENING HYMN:  “Spirit of the Living God”  (Second verse sing, “Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on us”) #393

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
