GREETING AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
GATHERING PRAISE SONG
PRELUDE
OPENING PRAYER: (in unison)
God of light and truth,we come before You this morning from many different places —
some with clear minds and joyful hearts,
others weary, worried, or confused.
Sometimes our faith feels clouded,
and our thoughts are tangled with fear and doubt.
But You, Lord, are the God who brings clarity.
You speak peace when our hearts are troubled.
You shine light where we cannot see the way.
As we worship You today,
clear away the fog that keeps us from trusting You fully.
Open our eyes to see Your truth,
open our hearts to receive Your love,
and open our lives to live as Your people of hope.
Remind us again that You are the God of the living,
and in You, we find life that never ends.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray,
Amen.

SONG OF PRAYER: “Sweet Hour of Prayer” (1st verse only) #496
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care, and bids me at my Father’s throne make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief, my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION (In unison after prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
