Leader:
Come, all who seek to serve the Lord,
For Christ calls us into a life of humility and love.
People:
We come, ready to serve and ready to be served.
We serve in the name of Jesus, who humbled Himself to show love to the world.
Leader:
Let mutual love continue, and let us show hospitality to strangers.
When we serve others, we serve Christ.
People:
We will open our hearts and our hands.
We will welcome those in need and those living on the margins.
Leader:
In the world, the greatest seek the highest places.
But in God’s Kingdom, we are called to be humble.
People:
We come to humble ourselves, to seek the lower place,
Trusting that God will lift us in His time.
Leader:
Let us worship God with gladness
and offer our lives as sacrifices of love and service.
People:
We come to give of ourselves-
to serve God and one another in humility and grace. Amen.
