Bible Study: Exploring the Life of Jesus Through The
Chosen during Sunday School (Following worship) Join us as we dive
into the life and teachings of Jesus Christ through the lens of the
television series The Chosen (March 2 – April 6). We will watch a
portion of the television show then have a brief discussion of the
corresponding scripture as we learn more about Jesus. Come join
us! Everyone welcome! First week we will meet in Hope Hall. Hope
to see you there!!
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – March 4 from 5 to 7 pm at
Holy Trinity Lutheran, Lanse. Men’s Group is having their annual
Pancake Supper to benefit the West Branch Food Bank. In their
Fellowship Hall. Eat in or take out. Please spread the word.
You are invited to a Family-Friendly Ash Wednesday Worship Service
March 5 @ 7 pm.
Who: Everyone! Families, friends, and individuals of all ages.
You are invited to join us for a special Ash Wednesday service where everyone is
welcome-from the littlest ones to the wisest ones! Together, we will gather in
prayer, reflection, and worship to begin the Lenten Season.
This year we will also be doing a fun and meaningful activity during the service that
allows each home to take a special keepsake from the evening. It is a wonderful
way to bring a piece of the service into your family’s journey through Lent.
The West Branch Area Food Bank services 145 families every month.
They are looking for the following donations
Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce, canned fruit/vegetables, cereal
Monetary donations are helpful too!!
