OPENING PRAYER (in unison):
Gracious and loving God,Today we come to your table as one people, from many places, backgrounds, and traditions. Thank you for the gift of Jesus Christ, who brings us together and makes us one body.
As we share the bread and the cup, remind us that we belong not only to this congregation, but to your worldwide family. Help us live into Jesus’ prayer that we may be one, just as you and Christ are one.
Open our hearts to your presence, deepen our love for one another, and make us instruments of your peace and unity.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
