PRAYER REQUEST CARDS- The pink prayer request cards that are in the pews are for anyone wishing a private prayer for themselves or someone else.  Fold the cards and put in the collection plate. They will be given to the Pastor.

TOUCH-A-TRUCK- September 19. 12- 2 pm. Bring your children/grandchildren and let them experience the world of big vehicles. Fire truck, race car, tractor trailer, etc. There may be vendors here too!

BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING- October 4. 2- 3:30 pm. If you have never attended before, come and see what it’s all about.  Buy a bowl of soup and a treat and watch the generosity of people as they bring food for the food bank, clothes for the clothing bank and shoes for the shoe bank.

A WISH LIST has been created for Day Care on Amazon. The list includes cleaning supplies, classroom materials and snack items.  If you are feeling ever so generous, we would truly appreciate any donations. TRUNK OR TREAT-FREE EVENT- October 25. 4- 5:30 pm. Please bring a canned item for the food bank.  Walk a large parking lot and pick up “treats” from car trunks! Ages: 6^th grade and under.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry no pets, please. There is a cart in the back for donations of candy for Trunk or Treat.  Thank you

CENTRAL PA. HEART WALK will be held at Tussey Mountain on October 1, 2026. If you would like to sponsor Brooke’s Brigade Team, it would be very much appreciated.  The donations will enable us to continue Brooke’s legacy.

Greetings in the name of Christ

WEST BRANCH AREA FOOD BANK as we begin to prepare for the upcoming

Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday meal packages which are given to our

food bank clients in addition to their regular monthly food items, during the

months of October, November and December we are encouraging the

donation of the following items; boxed mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing

mix, bags of noodles, canned green beans, canned or pouches of gravy,

boxed cakes mixes and canned frosting. Monetary donations are always

appreciated, and checks can be made out to the West Branch Area Food

Bank and mailed to Gethsemane United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 185,

Allport, PA 16821 Blessings for your continued support.
