Opening Prayer (in unison): Gracious God, as we worship you today,

remind us that we do not have to be famous, powerful, or perfect to

make a difference. You used ordinary people in Scripture to do

extraordinary things, and you can use us too. Open our hearts to see

the opportunities around us—to choose kindness, stand for what is

right, speak words of faith, and help someone who needs us. Take our

small acts and use them for your greater purposes. In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
