Risen Christ,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We come this morning with hearts full of expectation\u2014<\/strong>
<\/strong>and yet, if we are honest, also full of questions, grief, and things we do not understand.<\/strong> <\/strong>Like Mary at the tomb,<\/strong>
<\/strong>we have known loss.<\/strong> <\/strong>We<\/strong> have stood in places that feel empty.<\/strong>
<\/strong>We have named what is missing and wondered where You are.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so today, O God,<\/strong> <\/strong>we ask not only to celebrate resurrection\u2014<\/strong>
<\/strong>but to see it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open our eyes where we have assumed the worst.<\/strong>
<\/strong>Soften our hearts where disappointment has taken root.<\/strong>
<\/strong>Quiet our fears that keep us from recognizing You.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If You are standing near us in ways we do not yet understand,<\/strong>
<\/strong>call our name, Lord Jesus.<\/strong> <\/strong>Speak to us in a voice we can hear.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where we see absence, reveal Your presence.<\/strong>
<\/strong>Where we see endings, reveal Your new beginnings.<\/strong>
<\/strong>Where we see loss, reveal Your life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprise us this morning, O God\u2014<\/strong>
<\/strong>not only with the story we know,<\/strong>
<\/strong>but with the living Christ we may not yet see.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pray this in the name of the risen One,<\/strong>
<\/strong>who meets us in gardens, in grief, and in grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Jesus\u2019 name we pray,<\/strong>
