We are excited that you are worshiping with Gethsemane today. OPENING PRAYER:2
Holy God. We praise you as a God who calls us to move beyond the boundaries of “self.”
Yes, sometimes the task is difficult.
However, you anoint us to do your work in the world. You are always with us.
During this time of worship, open us up to your call in our lives, move us beyond our comfort zones, and let us be your beacon shining in the world.
We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I cast all my cares upon you.
I lay all of my burdens down at Your feet. And anytime that I don’t know what to do, I will cast all my cares upon you

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
