The Church began by being together in the upper room.1<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0Together<\/i> <\/strong>is an essential description of how Church works, and as we \u201care the body of Christ and individually members of it\u201d (I Corinthians 12:27 [NRSV]<\/i>), Together<\/i><\/strong> is an essential description of who we are as followers of Jesus.<\/h3>\n

SE<\/span>eking\u202fGod<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At Gethsemane Church, Seeking God<\/i> <\/strong>is the way we describe the process of growing closer and deeper in our relationship with God.\u00a0 Whether one is \u201cjust looking\u201d or committed to Christ for decades, God continues to draw us closer and deeper.\u00a0 We provide a multitude of ways in which one can seek the God who seeks us.2<\/sup><\/h3>\n

MA<\/span>king\u202fDisciples<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As followers of Jesus, we have the best. good. news. ever.\u00a0 \u202fMaking Disciples<\/i> <\/strong>means that we intentionally share about Jesus.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit convinces.3<\/sup>\u00a0 Our job is to tell what we\u2019ve seen and heard.4<\/sup><\/h3>\n

ReNE<\/span>wing\u202fthe World<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It doesn\u2019t take much to convince someone that the world around us is a mess.\u00a0 But even in worst of the mess, God is at work.\u00a0 Renewing the World<\/i><\/strong> is the way we talk about how we can be a part of what God is doing in our world5<\/sup>.\u00a0 From food and clothing banks, to caring for children and elderly, in the West Branch Area and across the globe, Renewing the World<\/i><\/strong> at Gethsemane Church is what we do to make God\u2019s love feel real.<\/h3>\n
