LOVE OFFERING is for the Danny “Doc” Hubler  family in Allport  who lost their home in a fire.

Due to the weather in Washington State, the daffodils are not ready to be cut so Daffodil Sunday will be April 7. 

Sunday Evening Lenten Service will be at Good Shepherd Episcopal  church, Hawk Run starting at  7 pm with Sister Suzanne  as speaker. 

On MONDAY, at 7 pm you are invited to Monday Night Prayer Time in the sanctuary.  Come as we seek God’s blessing and direction for our church and the different ministries.  

Wednesday Night Bible Study is in the library at 7 pm with Pastor Jim as leader.  

Help make the church beautiful this Easter.  You may purchase flowers in honor/memory of someone or to the Glory of God.  Order forms are in the Welcome Center.  LAST DAY to order April 14.     

Search for the meaning of Easter at Gethsemane’s Resurrections Egg Hunt Saturday April 20th from 10 – noon for children up to 12 years.    Children are asked to bring a non perishable food item for the West Branch Food Pantry.    Would you like to help? People are needed to fill eggs and/or bring donations of money or candy.  Contact Dee for more info (661-2606).  Egg deadline: April 14.

                   RENEWING THE WORLD

The last Church Fundraiser Dinner until Fall is SATURDAY.  We desperately need help for the dinner. We are especially in need of table setters, table cleaners, dish washers and clean up crew. We also need servers and hostess. 

The Spring Bazaar will be Saturday, April 13 from 9am – 1 pm.  Join us at 2 pm on Sunday April 7 to  make  Easter Eggs for the Bazaar. We will coat them April 8th. We need help at the bazaar serving tables and working at the various sales tables. Please give a few hours of your time. We also need items for the bake sale table.  

High School Seniors – Information about the H. Lee Hebel Scholarship is in the Welcome Center.  

The Lighthouse Evangelical Church is sponsoring an Alcohol Awareness Program for teens and adults on Wed. April 24 at 7 pm.  Join us as we discuss alcohol’s affects on the body & society.  Discover what God’s Word has to say

The Allport- Bigler-Woodland Work Camp will be June 16-21.  Work request forms are available on the Mission table in the Welcome Center for those who need help from the work camp.  Give completed work request forms to Penny Shadeck or Dick Rothrock.  If you would like to be on the Work Team, applications are on the mission table.   

GUMC Youth will be collecting scrap metal and accepting donations throughout the year to raise money for the mission trips.  Please call Steve (761-1722) if you have scrap metal to donate.
